My mum has a friend, a really great friend in fact. She is very empathic by nature and on top of this she has reams of qualifications in the field of ‘feel good-ness’. She is a very experienced councillor, therapist and hypnotist to name just a few of her skills
She has this fabulous method for dealing with troubles…it works like this
You tell her what your problem is and she asks 4 sub questions; You have to answer with 3 no’s and 1 yes in order to qualify
The questions are as follows :-
Does worrying about it solve anything? – No
Is there anything you can do about it? – No
Is it affecting your demeanour and/or mood? – Yes
Does thinking about it help you in any way? – No
After she has heard your answers, she repeats the questions and answers back to you (to show you the logic in her solution)
And then she says
Put it in the Fuck It Bucket!
Life is tooooo short to spend it worrying and focusing on that which we cannot change, I hope you find some good use for the Fuck It Bucket, I’m sure she wouldn’t mind everyone having one…
Paint it any colour and carry it with you wherever you go, make good use of it, it is a special bucket from a special lady, but you don’t need to be special to own one, just human!
